Articles on the artist’s special unique style followed in the French finance/investment magazines, highlighting the value of Pattinson’s place in the art world. Pattinson was becoming known as a rare and creative torch-bearer of the Musicalist movement started by Kandinsky in the early 1900s.

1993 Specially commissioned Pattinson artworks for His Royal Highness King Fahd of Saudi Arabia and for family members.

Their many ultra-high quality galleries in Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, Tokyo, Osaka, London and Paris (Avenue Montaigne) exhibited and sold every remaining Pattinson original art piece in his Musicalist style. The Art Brillant Galleries also created a high-tech production masterwork (investment quality) series of silk-screen serigraphs of eleven Pattinson works of various musical inspirations.
1999 - Pattinson, having painted over 250 original art pieces since 1971, and having sold 100% of them during his lifetime (a rare occurrence in the art world) decided to enjoy a well-deserved multi- year “retirement/spiritual interlude” phase till December 31st 2006. Since January 2007 Pattinson is currently overseeing and giving personal priority to the very important archiving, cataloguing and digital preservation/digital inventory creation of over 200 “commercially favorable” Musicalist paintings he created from 1971 to 1999. The next phase is the producing and directing of a full scale DVD showing the synergy of music and painting he has created, rather like a "Fantasia for The Arts".

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE MUSICALIST STYLE
“Painting is regulated by the same laws as musical rhythm”. PLATO; (Republic III. 10)

In 1909 Kandinsky studied the musical value of colors and forms. He was fascinated by the parallels between music and the visual arts. He was the early pioneer of what would later become the Musicalist movement. Scriabin, in that same time period, attempted a first coordination of colored lights with his music “Prometheus”. Later, he developed the “Color Organ”.
1932 saw the birth of the Musicalist School/Movement of painters with Valensi, Bourgogne, Straquadani and Blanc-Gatti.
Ernest Klausz further developed Musicalism and painted major works in this field from 1932 to 1970.Louise Janin, a very important Musicalist painter, has made a significant contribution to this movement. Pattinson exhibited with the above artists in Paris in 1974.
Blanc-Gatti produced the very first Musicalist abstract film in 1935, and Walt Disney’s “Fantasia” followed later that year. Disney’s involvement in the Musicalist style, the film-animated sector, has been enormous with Fantasia and Fantasia II. The style has spanned the ages from analog recording, vinyl discs and now proudly enters the digital age with print and distribution potential undreamt of by the founders of the movement.
In 1971 Pattinson created his first Musicalist painting “Richter Plays Rachmaninov” and since then has been a major player in the development of this beautiful and unique style.</subtitle>
